Developed in partnership with Clare Libraries and SOLAS, Kilkee Then and Now is an intercultural photographic project bringing together Ukrainian refugees and local residents to recreate historic photographs while documenting Kilkee as it exists today. Through shared experiences and photography, the project celebrates heritage, community, and cultural exchange. The completed body of work will be presented as a public exhibition and published as a book in September 2026, creating a lasting record of Kilkee’s evolving story.
